Our Doctors are trained in the use of the latest techniques and advances in the field of dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry and implant technology. Our practice focuses on comprehensive care for the entire family. They believe in providing the best quality dentistry for their patients in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

Dr. Douglas Cottle

If you are new to our practice, allow us to introduce our founding doctor, Douglas Cottle. For those of you who have been coming to our office over the years, here's the update. Dr. Cottle has been providing dental care in Ogden since 1984. Patients have come to love his gentle and painless touch and caring chairside manner. It is this tradition that has built Cobble Creek Dental into a successful family practice today. Recently, he has been seen taking on various projects such as remodeling his rental house on 24th street (looking very sharp and ready for renters), traveling near and far to visit and spend time with family, (the Cottle's now have 15 grandchildren and counting), and logging many miles on his bicycle (has saved a bundle in peddle power instead of gas). 

A cycling enthusiast, Dr. Cottle competed in the LOTOJA cycle race for the 6th time this past September. Short for Logan to Jackson, the bike race is the longest single day bike race in America (206 miles), and 10,000 feet of uphill climbing. Next time you see Dr. Cottle give him pat on the back for that one! But not too hard if he is still sore . . . .

 

Dr. Mark Harris

Dr. Mark Harris grew up in Star Valley, Wyoming. After serving for two years as an LDS missionary in Perth, Australia, he attended Brigham Young University in Provo. He met his wife, Larisa while attending BYU.

The Harris family then moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where in 2002 Dr. Harris received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree cum laude. He was also presented with awards in Oral Surgery and Prosthodontics, including the American Equilibration Society Award for outstanding performance in the science of occlusion and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) function.

Following dental school, Dr. Harris owned a successful dental practice in Soda Springs Idaho for the past 5 years. Although he and his family enjoyed their time in Idaho, they felt drawn to the Ogden area, and Dr Cottle's practice. Upon Dr. Cottle's retirement, ownership of the practice went to Dr. Harris. "It has been great to see what a wonderful practice Dr. Cottle has built over the years. I truly have met some fantastic people here. It's my goal to continue in the long established tradition of gentle and personal patient care here in Ogden.

Over the past 6 years, Dr. Harris has spent significant time in continuing his dental education, seeking out advanced studies across the country to stay abreast of the most current treatments available, including more advanced oral surgery techniques and placement of dental implants. Dental work today is easy and comfortable, especially in Dr. Harris's hands. He makes the patient's comfort his primary concern, and treats dental work as art. He provides comprehensive dental care for the entire family.


The Harris family, which includes four children, Samuel, Melissa, Marah, and Luke, enjoy spending time together. When not working on your teeth, Dr. Harris can sometimes be found snow-skiing, hiking, or wake-boarding. His most recent outing was a backpacking trip with his wife Larisa and some friends to the summit of Wyoming's Middle Teton.

Dr. K.C. Wilkins

Dr. K.C. Wilkins was born and raised in Henderson, Nevada. After graduating high school he served an LDS mission in Brazil for two years. Soon after his mission he attended Southern Utah University and graduated summa cum laude in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Biology. He also met and married his wife Lynnette while attending school.

After graduation he and his family moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he attended dental school at Temple University. In 2008 he graduated cum laude with his DMD degree. While in dental school he received several awards for clinical excellence and knowledge in dental anatomy and occlusion. He also became a member of the prestigious OKU dental honor society.

Dr. Wilkins is excited to be living here in the beautiful Ogden area. Dr. Wilkins has excellent clinical skills, a gentle approach, and a strong commitment to patient education that will make you and your family feel comfortable and at ease in the dental chair. Patient comfort has always been his primary concern.



When he is not in the dental office, Dr. Wilkins enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, Zachary (4) and Miles (2). His family enjoys the outdoors and spends lots of time hiking, camping and fishing. They also enjoy traveling, and their favorite destination is Disneyland.
